Common questions

Is Spendfox free?

Yes. Tracking, charts, a budget, reminders and Face ID are free forever, with no ads. Premium adds automatic tracking, the AI and no limits.

How does automatic tracking work?

Spendfox uses Apple’s Shortcuts app. You set it up once (the steps are in Spendfox): every bank SMS then adds itself, and a double-tap on the back of your iPhone adds whatever payment is on screen.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything you track works without internet. Only the AI features and live exchange rates need a connection.

Where is my data stored?

On your iPhone. There’s no account and no Spendfox cloud that keeps your transactions.

Is the AI private?

Only the short text or the totals needed for an answer are sent, and Spendfox doesn’t keep them. Every number is calculated on your iPhone; the AI only explains it.

Which iPhones are supported?

Any iPhone on iOS 26 or later.

Can I use my currency?

Yes, any currency as your main one, even on Free. Premium adds other currencies with live conversion, for trips abroad.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed by Apple in Settings › Apple Account, and you can cancel there anytime. Lifetime is paid once.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Spendfox is made for iPhone first.

Restore Premium

On a new iPhone, open Spendfox › Settings › Spendfox Premium › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

Move to a new iPhone

Your Spendfox data moves with your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or a computer) when you set up the new iPhone. With Premium you can also export a CSV (Settings › Export) and bring it in on the new iPhone (Settings › Import).
